| The Hula Bug is available in a 5 foot long (when open) double layer curtain with tendrils reaching approx. 19" deep, with a 3" diameter flotation boom, or 10 foot long with approx. 22" long tendrils, and a 5" diameter flotation boom. The flotation boom at the top allows the Hula Bug to float at the water surface to adsorb the oils, oil sheen, and oil-borne contaminants. The tendrils provide maximum surface exposure while allowing maximum water flow. The Hula Bug may be formed into a circle by the adjustable Velcro closure for use in catch basins or sumps. |

The Hula Bug in Antimicrobial for the
control of bacterial proliferation is made from
the Adsorb-it®/AM Antimicrobial Filtration Fabric.
The Adsorb-it /AM Filtration Fabric has a surface-bonded non-leaching antimicrobial that kills all known forms of bacteria, as well as fungus, mold, and algae - on contact.This extremely effective antimicrobial has shown the ability to kill 100% of fecal coliform bacteria in laboratory tests, and best of all, because it kills bacteria by physical, rather than chemical means, it won't leach any harmful toxins into the environment, and it won't lose its effectiveness over time.
You can leave the Hula Bug in Antimicrobial in place for prolonged periods of time without having to worry about the proliferation of bacteria, or the growth of mold, fungus, or algae on the fabric.

| The velcro at each end allows you to form the Hula Bug into a circle for floating in a confined area with an adjustment ranging from approx. 15" in diameter to 20" in diameter for the 5' unit, or much larger for the 10' unit. The grommets allow you to hook multiple units together for other applications. |
