The Adsorb-it/AM Filtration Fabric has a
surface-bonded non-leaching antimicrobial
that kills all known forms of bacteria as
well as fungus, mold, and algae.

The Centipede will float on the water surface with the water filtering through tendrils that provide maximum surface exposure for killing bacteria, while allowing maximum water flow.

Adsorb-it^®/AM Antimicrobial Filtration Fabric encloses a 3” dia. by 5’ long flotation boom. There's a double layer of tendrils extending out from each side, and a webbing loop at each end for anchoring the Centipede in place. A stainless steel clip provided at one end allows you to hook multiple Centipedes together. The webbing extends the full length of the Centipede for added strength.

You can leave the Centipede in place for prolonged periods of time without having to worry about the proliferation of bacteria, or the growth of fungus, mold, or algae on the fabric.

This extremely effective antimicrobial has shown the ability to kill 100% of fecal coliform bacteria in laboratory tests, and best of all, because it kills bacteria by physical, rather than chemical means, it won't leach any harmful toxins into the environment, it won't lose its effectiveness over time, and it will not promote the growth of adaptive organisms - Super Bugs - that develop a resistance to antimicrobials.
